Dym has BS in Marketing and Business Administration, and worked in store management, buying and sourcing for major corporations.
While recently living in Israel, Dym worked with the Tel Aviv Rape Crisis Center and free-lanced with grass roots peace initiatives. She assisted at St. Joseph’s Hospital, caring for Palestinian children. Dym connected the English-speaking community with opportunities to help care for children of poverty-stricken asylum-seeking African women living in Israel.
In the summer of 2014, after six babies died of preventable deaths in five weeks, Dym worked with the Unitaf organization to put forth a business plan to close the “baby warehouse” daycares and switch to a smaller care model, currently being piloted.
Dym now lives in Rumson with her husband and children.
